Nestled at 804 S Phillips Ave in the heart of Sioux Falls, our beautiful property boasts a rich history. Built in 1915, this historic home has stood as a testament to the enduring character and architectural charm of Sioux Falls for over a century.
The Jasper Stone was lovingly brought to life in 2017 by Karen Johnson. With a deep love for hospitality and an extraordinary eye for detail, Karen poured her heart and soul into transforming this house into the charming, inviting bed and breakfast in Sioux Falls you see today. She envisioned a place where every guest felt cared for and truly at home. Karen’s passion and dedication created the very foundation of The Jasper Stone.
Tragically, Karen passed away in March of 2025 after a brave fight with brain cancer. While her absence is deeply felt, her spirit of generosity, warmth, and meticulous care continues to be the guiding light for everything we do. Her son, Nate West, alongside his husband, Manny Carames, are profoundly committed to honoring her legacy as the next generation of hosts. They strive every day to uphold the high standards and heartfelt hospitality she established, ensuring The Jasper Stone remains the beloved oasis she dreamed it would be.
